Join New Community Kids for a Veterans Day craft project with the clients at Rosener House. Kids will help elderly clients do a craft, a popsicle stick flag. Meet in the NCC parking lot at 10:45 am and we'll walk over together. The craft project will run from 11-11:45 am. This activity is appropriate for elementary-age kids with a parent (sorry, no preschoolers this time). Limited to 20 participants—please, no walk-ins!
Rosener House Adult Day Services offers a positive, caring option for older adults with challenges and their family caregivers. The goal is to help families remain together, both by active therapeutic intervention for the participant and by reducing the emotional and physical demands on the caregiver. Programs and therapies promote health, independence, and dignity for individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, early memory loss, stroke, Parkinson’s disease, and other chronic conditions.
