Our communities help us to connect and grow in smaller groups.
We invite you to learn more and to reach out to our team leads.
When kids have fun at church, they cannot wait to come back and bring their friends! We value creating fun, safe environments where kids can learn about Jesus through games, activities, music, laughter and interactive experiences. Read about our New Community Kids Values and Safety Guidelines. Joining us for the first time? Learn more about what to expect here.
Ages 3 months–preschool: We offer a program for your child for the whole service.
Kindergarden-5th grade: Kids join their families for worship. Starting Sunday, October 21, kids will start in the sanctuary for worship and then go with leaders to their own program before the sermon starts.
Register your child here. On Sunday morning, you can check in at the entrance to the sanctuary or near the baby/toddler room.

Middle school and high school students
We want every student to feel and know that they are loved by God and that there is a place for them at New Community Church. In much of our lives, there is a lot of focus on what we do. In our Student Ministry, we remind kids that it is enough to be.
Middle School: Join us for lunch on Sundays at 11:30 am starting on Sunday, November 4, in Community Hall.
High School: We meet every Wednesday in the Fireside Room between 8 pm-9 pm.

All young adults are welcome to join us each Wednesday evening, 6:30 pm, at the Creative Studio just off the parking lot. We’ll enjoy food, talk about life, and get to know each other.

Spiritual formation & Discipleship
Jesus invites you and me into a way of life. Following him doesn’t mean we are perfect, polished and complete. It means we trust him with the care and feeding of our soul. Your soul is that central aspect of you that makes you, you! Your soul informs decisions, interprets events, manages experiences, negotiates relationships and develops character.
Your soul runs your life! It’s got a big job! You don’t direct the soul... you feed it so that the soul can direct you. Jesus didn’t just save our souls, he wants to feed them and lead them so that we will experience life the way he intended.
Our spiritual formation and discipleship team will hold mini-retreats and classes. We also sponsor the annual Women’s Retreat. You can find current offerings on our Events page. Contact: Team leads Ann Carter and Phil Durden.
Jesus calls us–not just to serve–but to become servants. Service is an activity, but servanthood develops our character. Servants following in the way of Jesus are relational, vulnerable, and generous, and that’s our vision for who we want to be!
Our team is focused on helping us all become better servants. We will be seeking your input through a series of “Community Conversations” in early 2019 about the most pressing issues facing “the least of these” in our local and global community. Contact: Katharine Sherwin, team leader.
Worship & Music
Worshipping as a community is a transcendent experience that brings us closer to each other and to God. We invite you to learn more about worship and being part of it at New Community Church. Contact: Associate Minister Aisea Taimani.
Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth. Worship the LORD with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations. - Psalm 100
