Join us for a life-changing, highly relational global formation trip to Zimbabwe (formerly Rhodesia), where we will spend time with orphans and assist our partner, Hands of Hope, with a Vacation Bible School. We will also enjoy a short safari. The trip will be led by Christine and Curt Taylor. Christine grew up in Zimbabwe and has taken five teams to Hands of Hope in recent years.  

Our team will serve with Hands of Hope in their ministry to orphans in and around Harare. The children will come to Habitation of Hope, one of the ministry’s properties, to experience a Christian camp. We will help with activities, including skits, Bible teaching, crafts, singing, games and puppet shows. Some of us may assist with minor repairs and light construction and/or mentoring of adolescent orphans.

We will experience God’s heart for some of the most vulnerable and hurting children anywhere in the world, and be encouraged by the deep faith and amazing dedication of the local ministry leaders and workers who have given their lives to serve “the least of these.” Our faith will be strengthened and we will see God at work in powerful ways. 

Cost: Approximately $3500 per person (depends on airfare, includes safari). Support-raising is encouraged and we’ll give guidance on how to do that.

Team meetings: Four mandatory prep meetings and two post trip meetings.
